One of the objectives of the council is to organise and conduct programmes, lectures, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums for promoting pre-discussion on all matters and questions relating to safety measures, procedures and research. Accordingly, the Council organises conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums at the national level.
For effectiveness, the national level programmes and activities have to be related to the national needs and designed keeping in view international experiences, trends and developments. It is, therefore, necessary for national level institutions like National Safety Council to develop sustainable international activities and provide a conduit for making the international experiences and expertise available at the national level. Accordingly, the Council had conducted number of events at the national level.
