Since 1979, the National Safety Council (NSC) has been publishing its distinctive multi-colour six-sheet wall calendar as an effective medium for promoting safety awareness. Over the years, the National Safety Calendar has become an important annual initiative, carrying meaningful safety messages in an engaging visual format.

Each edition features attractive illustrations and cartoons created by eminent artists and cartoonists. These visuals are supported by appealing captions and safety messages in English and Hindi, helping communicate important safety concepts to employees, organisations, clients and the public.

The calendar highlights a wide range of themes, including Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Home Safety, Office Safety, Fire Prevention, Road Safety and Environment Protection. Through relatable cartoons and illustrations, NSC makes safety awareness more engaging, memorable and relevant to everyday life.

Through the National Safety Calendar, NSC continues to encourage a strong culture of safety throughout the year. Combining creativity with practical communication, the calendar serves as a continuous reminder of the importance of safe practices at the workplace, at home and within the community.
