We are pleased to inform you that, the National Electrical Safety Week (NESW) campaign is spearheaded by the National Safety Council commencing from 26th of June every year, with the active support of Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Govt of India. The objective of the NESW is to raise awareness and enthusiasm among the public and industries on Electrical Safety and to renew the commitment of employees and the public to promote a participative approach towards the safe use of electricity.

As per the NCRB report published in the years 2020 & 2021, the total number of persons died due to electrocution are 13446 and 12529 respectively.
